Save

Your picture is opened by this page and never uploaded. The ad is made on this device, and the page keeps working with the network off.

Choose a picture, type a title and a line or two of copy, and pick where the ad is going: an Instagram post, portrait or story, a Facebook post, an X or LinkedIn post, a Pinterest pin, a YouTube thumbnail, or one of the standard display-ad slots, from the 300 by 250 medium rectangle to the 728 by 90 leaderboard. The ad is saved at exactly that many pixels, so the platform has nothing to crop or stretch.

The picture fills the frame. Drag it to choose what shows, and zoom in to crop tighter; it is cropped from your original and resampled once, so it stays sharp. The title and the description are boxes of their own: drag them anywhere on the ad, or snap them to the top, middle or bottom, and give each its own font, weight, size, text colour, alignment and width. A box can have a solid or see-through background, or none, which is how text stays readable over a busy photo.

Switch formats and the same ad is laid out again for the new shape, with the text sized to the frame, so one design becomes a post, a story and a banner without starting over. Nothing is uploaded: the picture is opened and the ad is made in this tab, and the page cannot open a connection to anywhere.

How to use it

  1. Pick the format first: Instagram post, story, Facebook post, a display-ad size, and so on.
  2. Choose your picture, then drag it in the frame and zoom to frame it.
  3. Type the title and the description; set each one's font, size, colours and width.
  4. Drag the boxes into place, or use Top, Middle and Bottom.
  5. Download as JPG or PNG, at exactly the format's size.

Questions

Is my picture uploaded?

No. It is opened by this page and the ad is drawn in this tab, by WebAssembly for the picture and your browser for the text. The page is served with a rule that stops it opening any network connection, so it works the same with the network off.

What sizes does it make?

Instagram posts at 1080 × 1080, 1080 × 1350 and 1080 × 566 and stories at 1080 × 1920; Facebook posts at 1200 × 630 and 1080 × 1080, covers and stories; X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest posts and banners; and the standard display-ad slots: 300 × 250, 336 × 280, 728 × 90, 970 × 250, 300 × 600, 160 × 600 and 320 × 50. The download is always exactly the size shown.

Can I make the same ad in several sizes?

Yes. Change the format and the ad is laid out again: the picture is reframed to the new shape around the same point, and the text is sized in proportion to the frame, so a title that suits a square post still fits a leaderboard. Check each one before downloading, since a very wide or very tall format may want the boxes moved.

How do I keep text readable over a photo?

Give the box a background: pick its colour and raise Box opacity. A dark box at 60 to 80 per cent under white text reads on almost any picture and still lets the photo show through. Without a box, choose a text colour that contrasts with the part of the picture behind it, and drag the picture so that part is plain.

Which fonts can I use?

Seven looks: Clean, Poster, Classic, Rounded, Narrow, Typewriter and Script. Each is a list of fonts most computers have, and the page uses the first one yours does; no fonts are downloaded, which is why it works offline. Once you download, the text is part of the image, so it looks the same everywhere it is posted.

Will the picture lose quality?

It is cropped from your original at full resolution and then scaled to the format's size once, with a Lanczos filter, which keeps detail sharper than ordinary resizing. A picture smaller than the format, or zoomed in a long way, is enlarged and will look softer; the status line says the saved size.

JPG or PNG?

JPG for an ad that is mostly photograph: it is much smaller, and every platform accepts it. PNG for an ad that is mostly flat colour and text, where JPG would leave faint smudges round the letters.

Your data stays on your device

Everything above runs inside your browser as WebAssembly compiled from Rust. Nothing you type is uploaded, logged or stored on a server. You can load this page once, go offline, and it still works.

This page makes no requests at all, to anywhere. That is not a promise in the copy: it is a Content-Security-Policy header your browser enforces, and connect-src on it is none. Open the network tab and watch nothing happen.
