What happens to what you type

Every tool on this site runs inside your browser as WebAssembly compiled from Rust. The text you paste and the files you choose are read by the page you are on, worked on there, and never sent anywhere. There is no account to make and no upload step, because there is nothing on the other end to receive them. You can load a tool once, disconnect, and it keeps working, which is the easiest way to check this for yourself rather than take our word for it.

This site therefore holds no database of users, no history of what anyone converted, and no copies of anyone's files.

What your browser stores

Two things, both kept on your own device and readable only by this site:

• Your light or dark theme choice.
• The cities you add to the World Clock, so they come back next visit.

Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes both. Some tools put their state in the address bar instead, such as a countdown's target date, so that a link you share carries it. Nothing in the address bar is stored by us.

Advertising

The site is free and is paid for by advertising, which is the one part of a page that reaches outside your browser.

• Google, as a third-party vendor, serves the ads on this site and may use cookies and similar identifiers to do so, including to serve and measure ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites.
• You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google handles data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Further opt-outs are listed at optout.aboutads.info and, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before any of this happens, and you can change your answer at any time from the link in that message.

The ad script sees that a page was opened, along with the usual things any request carries, such as your IP address and browser. It does not see what you type into a tool or which file you chose, because neither leaves the tab.

Hosting

The pages are served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives and logs the requests it serves, including IP addresses, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for what that involves.

What this site does not do

• No analytics, no visitor tracking of its own, and no tracking pixels.
• No accounts, no sign-up, no mailing list.
• No selling or sharing of personal data, because none is collected here.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Your rights

Where the GDPR or similar law applies, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you and to have it deleted. We hold none, so there is nothing here to release or erase. For data held by the advertising vendor, use the Google links above, which is where that data actually lives.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history to consult, so the current text is the whole of it.
