Pick a start and an end and the count is there: the number of days between them, and the same span as weeks and days, as years, months and days, and as working days and weekend days. Tick Count the end date as well when both days are in, as in a stay from the 1st to the 5th, which is five days, not four.
Leap years and months of different lengths are counted exactly. Working days are Monday to Friday; holidays are left in, because they differ from place to place.

Questions
How many days are there between two dates?
Subtract the earlier from the later on the calendar: from 1 January to 5 January is 4 days. Counting both ends, as for a hotel stay or a rental, it is 5. This page does either.
How many working days are between two dates?
The days from Monday to Friday in the span, shown under the total. Public holidays are not taken out.
Is anything sent anywhere?
No. The dates are worked out in this tab, in WebAssembly, by a page that is not allowed to open a network connection. Nothing you type is stored or sent.
