Signature Generator: Draw or Type Your Signature
Sign with your finger, a pen or the mouse, or type your name, and save it as a transparent PNG.

Your signature is drawn and saved in this page. It is never uploaded, and nothing is kept when you close it.
Sign in the box with your finger on a phone, a stylus on a tablet or the mouse on a computer, and your signature is saved as a picture with a transparent background, ready to drop onto a contract, a letter, an email footer or a form. Or type your name and choose from the handwriting fonts your device has.
It is drawn as ink rather than as a line of dots: the stroke is smoothed through every point your hand made, thinner where you moved fast and fuller where you slowed or pressed, the way a pen behaves, and a stylus's pressure is used where there is one. It is saved at three times the size it was drawn, trimmed to the signature, so it stays sharp on paper.
Your signature never leaves this page. It is not uploaded or stored, and it is gone when you close the tab, which is how it should be for something that stands for you. To sign a document, Sign PDF puts it straight onto the page, also without uploading anything.
How to use it
- Sign in the box, or choose Type and write your name.
- Pick the ink colour and the pen's thickness. Undo takes back the last stroke.
- Download a transparent PNG, or a JPG on white, or Copy it to paste.
Questions
Is a signature made like this legally valid?
For many everyday documents an image of your signature is accepted as an electronic signature, under laws such as the US ESIGN Act and the EU's eIDAS rules. Some documents need a certified digital signature or a wet one instead, so check with whoever asked. This page makes the picture; it does not add a certificate.
Why is the background transparent?
So the signature sits on the document's own paper colour and lines, the way ink does. A white box round a signature on a grey form gives it away. Tick On white if what you are pasting into needs a solid background.
Can I sign with my finger?
Yes: on a phone or tablet the box takes your finger, and a stylus's pressure makes the line fuller where you press. Turn the phone sideways for more room.
Is my signature kept anywhere?
No. It exists only in this page while it is open: nothing is uploaded, and nothing is saved in the browser. Download it if you want to keep it.
Your data stays on your device
Everything above runs inside your browser as WebAssembly compiled from Rust. Nothing you type is uploaded, logged or stored on a server. You can load this page once, go offline, and it still works.
This page makes no requests at all, to anywhere. That is not a promise in the copy: it is a Content-Security-Policy header your browser enforces, and connect-src on it is none. Open the network tab and watch nothing happen.
