A receipt says a payment has been made. Fill in who paid, what for and how, cash, card or a transfer, add tax if it applies, and download a PDF headed Receipt with the amount paid marked, with no due date and nothing left owing, because there is not.
Each receipt is numbered on from the last, REC-0001, REC-0002, and saved in this browser, to open again, copy for a regular customer or back up to a file. Your name, address, logo and currency fill in every new one.
Receipts come out in English, Spanish and Portuguese (recibo), French (reçu), German (Quittung), Italian (ricevuta) or Dutch (kwitantie), and nothing is uploaded: the PDF is made in this tab.
How to use it
- Add your logo and details, and who paid you.
- Add a line for what was paid for, with quantity and price.
- Set tax if it applies, and how it was paid.
- Download the PDF receipt. It is saved here too.
Questions
What should a receipt include?
Who was paid and who paid, the date, what the payment was for, the amount and how it was paid, and a receipt number. Where tax applies, show it separately; in many countries a business receipt also needs your tax number, which can go in your details under From.
What is the difference between an invoice and a receipt?
An invoice asks for payment and says when it is due; a receipt confirms the payment was made. The same sale often has both: the invoice before, the receipt after. Both are made on this site from the same saved details.
Can I make a receipt for a cash payment?
Yes: put Cash as the payment method. The receipt shows the full amount as paid.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The PDF is made in this tab, in WebAssembly, by a page served with a rule that forbids it from opening a network connection. Your clients, prices and logo stay on your device, and what you save stays in this browser.

Your data stays on your device
Everything above runs inside your browser as WebAssembly compiled from Rust. Nothing you type is uploaded, logged or stored on a server. You can load this page once, go offline, and it still works.
This page makes no requests at all, to anywhere. That is not a promise in the copy: it is a Content-Security-Policy header your browser enforces, and connect-src on it is none. Open the network tab and watch nothing happen.
